Moment Recordings present the brand new Single from Sounds Of iO featuring Bri Macanas – “Everytime” including three new remixes.

The third single taken from Sounds Of iO’s self-titled album, “Everytime” is a precursor to their forthcoming ‘Expanded and Remixed’ Album to be released later this year.

Featuring the husky, soulful voice of Bri Macanas (The Midnight Vortex), she sings of the relentless, magnetic pull of love. The song foats over a sea of atmospherics and rotating sultry guitar tones underpinned with sparse electronic beats.

Along with the original are three new remixes of the song. New Artist, “eX-type” provides a vocal and Dub mix adding his own style to the track. Laid back, shuffing beats and rumbling bass provide the bedrock as subtle ambient sounds of the original are mutated around the sparking vocal.

The second mix dubs up the balearic style track utilising the Chorus hook.

And fnally, Label mate, “Casual Jumper” places the song into his typical Lo-f Hip-hop sound space with fltered, wonky pads and slow, dusted beats.

Sounds of iO are Chris Taubert and Steve Travell. The pair have been making music together since 2016 after Chris presented Steve a handful of track ideas he’d been working on. A shared musical love of downtempo, trip hop and ambient soundscapes soon inspired them to develop the tracks together and create an album.

“Everytime” is taken from the debut album from Sounds of iO. The Deluxe version of the Album containing Remixes and new edits will be available on Moment Recordings in the Autumn.
