Moment Recordings presents Sounds Of iO’s new EP, “Mdoj”.

The latest track from Sounds Of iO’s debut album gets an EP release containing the original and two remixes. This release is a precursor for the new Expanded and remixed version of the Sounds Of iO debut album.

“Mdoj” (My defnition of Jazz) takes us on a mid tempo breakbeat journey with melancholic flutes, funky Rhodes and intertwined with an unknown narrator declaring his defnition of Jazz.

UK House producer, Marin Sharp is recalled for another one of his special remix treatments (see his excellent versions of previous S.O.i releases, Circles and The Rules Have Changed). For “Mdoj” he trips out the groove into a chilled, rhythmic and spacious excursion.

The second remix comes curtesy of the duo, Sharpe And Sharma (No relation to Martin!). Their version delves more into electronica with busy percussive elements, sweeping low end synths and dubbed out vocals.

“Mdoj” is taken from the debut album from Sounds of iO. The Deluxe version of the Album containing Remixes and new edits will be available on Moment Recordings in the next months.
