Moment recordings present the “Circles Remixed” EP from Sounds Of iO. Featuring two remixes of their second single “Circles”.

The next EP from Sounds Of iO delivers another taster for the upcoming Expanded and remixed album of their self titled debut.
Circles was originally the second single and here are two brand new remixes from Martin Sharp and Beardog.

Martin Sharp’s remix is a beautifully cut up and sliced version stretching out the relaxed vibe of the original. Utilising the funky fute and cosmic vocals to jazzy effect this is a perfect sundowner track with chill factor 10.

Meanwhile Moment recordings own Beardog strips the original down to a Rhodes driven groove. Bongos and shakers lead the rhythm with old school, dusty trip-hop leanings. This version wouldn’t sound out of place on a dope on plastic compilation.

Sounds of iO are Chris Taubert and Steve Travell. The pair have been making music together since 2016 after Chris presented Steve a handful of track ideas he’d been working on. A shared musical love of downtempo, trip hop and ambient soundscapes soon inspired them to develop the tracks together and create an album.

“Circles” is taken from the debut album from Sounds of iO. The Deluxe version of the Album containing Remixes and new edits will be available on Moment Recordings this Winter.
